One of the more popular weeks, future animal keepers will work with our Eco Station educators in feeding and caring for our rescued exotic wildlife. Campers will learn about slithery snakes, amazing alligators, and pretty parrots to help gain a better understanding of what it takes to care for exotic animals!
Join the Eco Station this week as we explore the cold-blooded world of our reptiles! Meet our monitor lizards, greet our geckos and all of the other scaly friends that call the us their home. Junior Eco staffers will learn all about these amazing animals and help us enrich the lives of our reptile friends!
Bright, beautiful and brilliant! Join us for this week as we explore the skies with our feathered friends, the parrots! Learn how birds fly, dance and use their voice to communicate with one another! Our rockin’ cockatoos, magnificent macaws and flock of other feathered friends are waiting for you to come and soar with them!
Come on down to discover the medley of marvelous mammals that live at the Eco Station and that are found around the world! Our cuddly chinchillas, sweet sugar gliders and Lulu the bobcat are waiting for you to come on an adventure with them!
A continued increase in interest bring us a another week of Future Animal Keepers! Eco Station educators will help train junior staff on what it takes to care for our tremendously tough tortoises, majestic mammals and so many others! Campers will help with things such as diet preparation, enclosure cleaning and enrichment activities for our amazing animal team.
Calling all animals lovers and protectors of our planet! Focusing on some of the amazing people and organizations that have worked to save the Earth and all its creatures, campers will learn how they can help too! This week is perfect for those who want to learn about the ways they can save wildlife, protect the environment and become a wildlife rescue hero.
Be the best superhero you can be, an Eco Hero! we will be learning simple ways to help the environment and make big impacts on our planet. Did you know animals do their part for the environment too? Come and celebrate these amazing critters and so many more at the Eco Station and help us better the lives of our remarkable rescues!
Join us this week of camp as we give you the very best that the Eco Station has to offer! Each day will be filled with all of the animal activities that have been very popular amongst past campers. Boogie with our bobcat, chat with a chinchilla and enjoy all of the wonderful wildlife that we have at the STAR Eco Station!
Back again for a third week! Become a future animal keeper and learn all of the ins and outs of an exotic wildlife rescue. Prepare produce for our parrots, sneak a peek at some snakes and feed a few insectivores; all while gaining a new appreciation for the diversity of the animal kingdom!
Dive right in and join us by celebrating the waterways of our plant with our rescued aquatic friends! During this week the campers will discover the underwater wonders of our planet’s oceans, rivers, marshes and more. Come frolic with our fish, turn up with our turtles and enjoy all of the amazing aquatic species that call the STAR Eco Station home!
